World premiere of new Mike Bartlett play to open at Hampstead Theatre

A new play by Mike Bartlett will open at Hampstead Theatre in June. Wild will be directed by James Macdonald, with previews from 10 June and runs until 16 July.
The piece explores the consequences of challenging the status quo at a 'global level'. It follows Andrew, whose life is turned upside down in a week where he goes from a nobody to America's most wanted man.
It's a return for Bartlett to Hampstead Theatre following his adaptation of Chariots of Fire.
As well as a world premiere of Wild Hampstead Theatre another new play, by Howard Brenton, also makes its debut. Lawrence After Arabia has been commissioned to mark the centenary of the Arab revolt. John Dove will direct the piece which follows TE Lawrence who has disappeared, and is hiding in the home of Mr and Mrs Bernard Shaw. The play opens in previews from 28 April and runs until 4 June.
Casting has also been announced for the run of Neil LaBute's Reasons to Be Happy, which will be directed by Michael Attenborough and open in March. The full cast includes Tom Burke, Warren Brown, Robyn Addison and Lauren O'Neil.
The piece follows the lives and loves of four friends as they search for happiness.
Casting for Wild and Lawrence After Arabia will be announced in due course.
