Cleopatra's Cleo Higgins joins West End's Thriller Live
Higgins will join the Michael Jackson tribute musical on 24 June
Pop star Cleo Higgins is to make her West End stage debut in Michael Jackson show Thriller Live.
A former lead singer of girl group Cleopatra, Higgins more recently reached the final stages of The Voice on BBC One.
She joins the London cast of the long-running show at the Lyric Theatre from 24 June, direct from the touring production.
"I'm a huge Michael Jackson fan and I identify with him," said Higgins. "I'm an 80s baby - I come from the same era.
"My favourite song I get to perform in the show is 'They Don't Really Care About Us'. I get to feel the energy Michael gave when he sang, when it was recorded. I get right into that zone and I feel every word. We celebrate his incredible legacy in Thriller Live. His songs will never die."
