Following appearances at the Manchester International Festival at The Lowry, Salford, and a visit to Havana with The Royal Ballet, its first to Cuban, Carlos Acosta returns to the London Coliseum later this month with a revised version of his Olivier award-winning show.

The first half includes the Spartacus Pas de Deux performed by Acosta and Nina Kaptsova from the Bolshoi; John Neumeier’s Othello performed by Hamberg Ballet’s Amilcar Moret and Florencia Chinellato; and Ben Stevenson’s Three Preludes performed by Arionel Vargas and Begona Cao from English National Ballet.

After the interval, Acosta performs a contemporary interpretation of The Dying Swan, and Rambert dancer Miguel Altunaga performs Memoria, a new piece he's choreographed with Acosta.

Also performing are Veronica Corveas from Ballet Nacional de Cuba, and Steven McRae and Roberta Marques from The Royal Ballet.

The ever-busy Acosta returns to London in the autumn, with guest appearances at Covent Garden, and a show at Sadler’s Wells. He also appears with Natalie Portman in the anthology film New York, I Love You which features several love stories set in the Big Apple. It features an all-star cast including Kevin Bacon, Orlando Bloom, Ethan Hawke, Andy Garia and Julie Christie.
