Images have been released offering a first look at Abigail's Party starring Jodie Prenger.

Mike Leigh's play is revived by Sarah Esdaile for a tour which begins in Brighton this week and continues to tour until April.

The full cast for the revival is Prenger as Beverly, Vicky Binns as Angela, Calum Callaghan as Tony, Daniel Casey as Lawrence and Rose Keegan as Susan.

The piece follows Beverly and her husband Lawrence who are throwing a party for their newlywed neighbours.

Leigh saw the cast in their opening week in Brighton.

The 2019 touring production also visits Birmingham, York, Glasgow, Southampton, Stoke-on-Trent, Woking, Northampton, Blackpool, Aylesbury, Liverpool, Dartford, Manchester and Edinburgh.

The piece is directed by Esdaile, with associate director Mark Maughan, designer Janet Bird, lighting designer Paul Pyant, associate lighting designer, Ed Locke, sound designer, Mic Pool, movement director Lucy Cullingford, dialect coach Charmian Hoare, casting director Anne Vosser, costume supervisor, Yvonne Milnes, props supervisor, Lizzie Frankl and wigs supervisor Andrew Whiteoak.
