Miranda Hart starred as Miss Hannigan in Nikolai Foster’s production

Bill Nighy, Alexandra Burke and Graham Norton were among the guests at the Piccadilly Theatre last night as Miranda Hart made her West End debut in Annie.

Also among the guests were Christopher Biggins, Miranda co-stars Sarah Hadland and Sally Phillips, and the production's director Nikolai Foster.

The title role is shared by actresses Madeleine Haynes, Ruby Stokes and Lola Moxom. In her review for WhatsOnStage, Sarah Crompton said the children of the cast "were as confident and cute as you might expect, with excellent comic timing".
