Sophie-Louise Dann replaces Ronni Ancona in Bend It Like Beckham

Ronni Ancona has had to withdraw from upcoming musical Bend It Like Beckham for "family reasons".
Ancona, who was due to play Paula, will be replaced in the role by Sophie-Louise Dann, fresh from her portrayal of Barbara Castle in Made in Dagenham.
A spokesman for the production said: "Sadly early in the rehearsal process Ronni had to withdraw from the production of Bend It Like Beckham for family reasons. The company of course wish her well. The producers are thrilled that Sophie-Louise Dann will now play the role of Jules’ mother, Paula."
Bend It Like Beckham stars Natalie Dew as football crazy Jess with Lauren Samuels (Water Babies) as Harriers WFC player Jules and Jamie Campbell Bower (Twilight, The Mortal Instruments) as their coach Joe.
It opens at the Phoenix Theatre on 15 May 2015.
