Virtual performance at Floral Pavilion

By • London
A show combining West End performers with the backdrop of state of the art technology is heading to Wirral next month.

Musicals in Motion brings a unique theatre experience through authentic costumes, beautiful voices, plus computer generated imagery set designs and interactive choreography.

Stars of the show, Jem Brent and Rachel Slater, have performed leading roles in many shows including Starlight Express, Singing in the Rain, Evita, Rent, 42nd Street and Saturday Night Fever.

The other star to the show - a 24 sq metre rear-projection screen - presents a pre-recorded, ‘virtual’ cast of over seventy people including a full dance ensemble, a children’s choir, an award-winning male voice choir plus a few special guests! With clever lighting and perfect timing, the live performers interact seamlessly with their huge supporting cast breaking down the barrier between what is ‘live’ and what is ‘virtual’.

Musicals in Motion visits the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton on Saturday 12 September. Tickets cost £14.
