Philip Glenister to Lead West End Skylight Run???

David Hare’s play Skylight could be heading for a West End run as soon as January if reports are to be believed.

The play follows Kyra, a young teacher working in London, and Tom, a wealthy entrepreneur and Kyra’s former lover. Tom’s wife has recently died, and one cold winter night his teenage son calls Kyra, begging her to be reconciled with his father. The pair try to get along but old habits soon return, and they quickly return to brutal debate and insults.

Philip Glenister, best known for his roles in TV dramas Ashes to Ashes and Life on Mars, is rumoured to be playing the role of Tom.
