Hiran Abeysekera

Hiran Abeysekera is perhaps best known for his Olivier Award-winning performance as Pi Patel in Life of Pi.

His other stage credits include the National Theatre productions of The Father and the Assassin and Behind the Beautiful Forevers, the Royal Shakespeare Company productions of Cymbeline and Hamlet, the Theatre des Bouffes du Nord productions of Tempest and The Prisoner, the Hampstead Theatre production of Botticelli in the Fire, and the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre production of Peter Pan.

His screen credits include The Magic Faraway Tree, The Good Karma Hospital, Holby City, Find Me in Paris and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
