The Space Between Us

The iconic album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band has reached out and connected with every generation since its first hearing 51 years ago. The Space Between Us theatrically celebrates this ground breaking Beatles album by bringing together an intergenerational cast – some of whom remember singing along to the album when it was released in 1967 – and creating a unique piece of theatre inspired by the histories of the people involved.

This innovative year-long project has produced a wealth of stories, which have gone on to inspire movement, spoken word and song. By working across the generations our cast has strengthened the belief that there isn’t much space between us after all.
