Holst: The Planets – The Keys to the Universe

Saturday 29 September 2018 marks 100 years since Holst premiered his most famous work: The Planets. rought to life by acclaimed pianists Robert Hunter and James Longford, you will discover a new way of listening to this famous work. On this immersive audio-visual journey, the pianists will be accompanied by a stunning visual tour of the seven planets complimenting each movement. This original arrangement lay forgotten for over half a century until recently unearthed after a series of serendipitous events. This magical arrangement for one piano and four hands brings us closer to the original composition that Holst wrote before embarking on its orchestration.
