Mermaids and Pirates

After a successful run at Perform in the Park in 2023, Mermaids and Pirates is coming to St Martin’s Theatre with daytime performances running from 21st to 26th July.

When Long Gone Silver and his bumbling band of pirates sail up to Treasure Island, the last thing they expect is an encounter with Marina and her super-cool team of mermaids. But when The Sacred Coconut mysteriously disappears, chaos ripples across the island and only singing parrot Rita Conchita and her friends can restore harmony.

Mermaids and Pirates features a shipload of unforgettable characters, including Jack, the Seasick Pirate, shy mermaid Myrtle, and Isla, Queen of the Island. Full of calypso-infused songs, salsa-styled choreography and plenty of comic surprises, this one-hour musical celebrates teamwork, courage and the magic of the Caribbean.
