Swarm is a play about us, our island and our reaction to those who try to come here. At a time when Britain’s place in the world is at a crossroads this urgent new play shines a light on the nation’s complicated and often fraught relationship with those from beyond our borders. Taking its title from David Cameron’s rhetoric on the subject, SWARM contains the voices of a crisis and will reveal the often surprising attitudes of the people of the UK. From the ‘Jungle’ Camp in Calais to your local high street, this provocative new play takes a look at us through the eyes of those who come here to ask for our help.
