A Chinese-Jamaican Musical Comedy. The play is a Diverse Musical Comedy which examines the issues of food, family and belonging through the eyes of two families, one Jamaican and one Chinese. It is set in modern day London, and considers the lives of immigrant people and their first generation children. Although a comedy, it explores the pertinent, and often hard hitting issues, whilst celebrating the strengths, joys and resilience of the human spirit. There is a unique combination of music from both Jamaican and Chinese origin which further enhance the themes.
