Prom 1First Night of the Proms 2024

In her First Night debut, conductor Elim Chan places Beethoven’s compelling score at the heart of a celebration that includes fireworks, jubilation and romance. The last comes with Clara Schumann’s tender and virtuosic Piano Concerto – performed by a pianist who has championed it tirelessly: Isata Kanneh-Mason, the eldest of the remarkable musical Kanneh-Mason siblings.
