Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown has extended its run at the Playhouse Theatre to 22 August 2015.

Recent Olivier Award nominees Tamsin Greig and Haydn Gwynne will continue to lead the cast of the show, which is adapted from the Pedro Almodóvar film of the same name.

The cast also includes Ricardo Afonso, Marianne Benedict, Seline Hizli, Holly James, Michael Matus, Rebecca McKinnis, Sarah Moyle, Alastair Natkiel, Haydn Oakley, Jérôme Pradon, Nuno Queimado, Dale Rapley, Anna Skellern, and Willemijn Verkaik.

The musical, which is written by David Yazbek and Jeffrey Lane (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), is directed by Tony Award-winner Bartlett Sher.

The story revolves around a professional movie dubber (Greig) who discovers unsavoury secrets about her married lover after he abruptly abandons her.
