Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution has extended its run at London County Hall until 4 October 2026, with a brand-new company taking over from 26 September this year.

Now in its eighth year, the immersive production is directed by Lucy Bailey, with audiences placed at the heart of the action in the grand chamber of County Hall. The announcement also coincides with the centenary of Christie’s story, first published as Traitor Hands in 1925.

The fourteenth cast will see Charlie Preston make his West End debut as Leonard Vole, accused of murder in cold blood, alongside Lara Lemon, returning to the production as Romaine Vole. Roger May takes on the role of Sir Wilfrid Robarts QC, with Graham Seed as Mr Mayhew, Tom Godwin as Mr Myers QC, and Christopher Saul as Justice Wainwright.

They are joined by Sahar Awad, William Bassoumba, Tuhin Chisti, Michael Fray, Caroline Guthrie, Sulin Hasso, Pena Iiyambo, Richard Keightley, Michael Otim-Okot, Sam Pay, Finn Torkington and Jn Young.

The creative team includes design by William Dudley, lighting by Chris Davey, sound by Mic Pool, and casting by Ellie Collyer-Bristow.

Since its 2017 premiere, the show has been seen by over a million people and earned Olivier and WhatsOnStage Award nominations for Best Revival.
