Willemijn Verkaik will return to role of Elphaba in the West End production of Wicked from 30 January 2017.

Also joining the cast in January will be Sue Kelvin as Madame Morrible and Sarah McNicholas as Nessarose.

Verkaik played the role in the West End from 2013 to 2014 and is the only person to have portrayed the character in three languages; Dutch, German and English (on Broadway and the West End). She recently starred as Kala in Disney's Tarzan in Stuttgart.

The award-winning musical by Stephen Schwartz tells the untold story of the Witches of Oz, and celebrates its 10th anniversary at the Apollo Victoria Theatre this month with a special gala on 27 September.

Wicked is currently booking at the Apollo Victoria Theatre, London until November 2017.
