Willemijn Verkaik announces UK and New York concert dates

Dutch star Willemijn Verkaik is to appear at a special, one-off solo concert at the Ambassadors next month.

Following recent stage success in London including Wicked and Women On The Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Verkaik will perform in London on 25 August, before two shows at 54 Below in New York City on 27 and 28 August.

She will appear alongside a live band and be joined on stage by special guests, who are yet to be announced.

Verkaik has portrayed Wicked's Elphaba in Germany, Holland, New York and London, and will play Kala in Disney's Stuttgart production of Tarzan, opening next month.

The concert takes place at Ambassadors Theatre on Tuesday 25 August 2015. Tickets start at £17.50 and are available here.
