We caught up with the three actors tasked with a modern take on Chekhov’s classic
A new production of Chekhov's Three Sisters began previews last night (3 April) at the Southwark Playhouse, starring Holliday Grainger, Olivia Hallinan, Emily Taaffe and Paul McGann.
The production, which has been "reworked for the 21st century" by playwright Anya Reiss, is co-produced by Danielle Tarento, producer of the WhatsOnStage Award-winning Titanic at the same venue.
We met with the three actresses playing the sisters to get the lowdown on the production. The interviewer was WhatsOnStage editor Theo Bosanquet.
Three Sisters runs in The Large at Southwark Playhouse from 8 April to 3 May 2014 (previews from 3 April).
