Treason the Musical is set to make its first full production debut this autumn in select theatres across the UK.

The musical, which tells the historic tale of division, religious persecution, and brutality, will kick off with its first show at the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh on 25 October. The show will then continue to Sheffield Lyceum Theatre with a week-long run from 31 October before concluding with a run at London’s Alexandra Palace from 8 to 18 November.

Treason the Musical features a blend of original folk and pop songs. Following its streamed Cadogan Hall concert in 2021 and two subsequent EPs on streaming platforms, the piece took to the stage last August in a WhatsOnStage Award-nominated concert. The show, which starred Carrie Hope Fletcher and Bradley Jaden, sold out Theatre Royal Drury Lane twice.

Earlier this year, the album Lighting The Fuse: Sparks From Treason In Concert was released, featuring a 19-track selection from the show that captivated further audiences. In its first month, the album has already surpassed 100,000 streams.

Casting is to be revealed.
