Five different variations, one cast, one venue!

The Traitors – Acts of Betrayal will receive its world premiere in London’s West End next year.
Written by John Finnemore and directed by Robert Hastie, the production will comprise a cycle of five new plays inspired by the format of The Traitors.
Each weekday performance will begin with the same premise before diverging into one of five separate narratives. Characters eliminated early in one version of the story may progress further or emerge victorious in another. The producers describe each play as a complete work in its own right while also forming part of a larger interconnected cycle.
Saturday performances will introduce an additional audience participation element. Audiences will determine which character becomes a Traitor, with that choice influencing which version of the story is performed and how the evening’s events unfold. As a result, matinee and evening performances on the same day may reach different conclusions.

The stage adaptation of the television format will begin previews at the Gillian Lynne Theatre on 11 May 2027, ahead of an opening night on 8 June. Tickets are now on sale.
Stephen Lambert, chief executive of co-producer Studio Lambert, said: “Each of the five plays tells a whole story on its own. But the same evening could have turned out in completely different ways, and anyone who wants to discover how is welcome to come back and find out. On the surface it is a game of paranoia and betrayal. Underneath, it is about who we really are under pressure, and the way our true colours show in the end.”
Caro Newling, co-founder of co-producer Neal Street Productions, added: “It’s a true privilege to bring such an innately theatrical concept to the stage together with Studio Lambert and a team of inspired theatre-makers.
“With a different new play performed each weekday night, and rogue-choice Saturday performances, they’ve together created an endeavour of extraordinary scale, offering audiences a genuine box-set of entertainment from the heart of the Traitors universe.”
