The charity event takes place this evening

The Play That Goes Wrong will take part in this year’s Comic Relief broadcast this evening, Friday 20 March, with the long-running production contributing a specially filmed sketch to the evening’s broadcast.
The production, which continues its run at the Duchess Theatre, will appear as part of the programme from 7pm, which is set to stream on BBC iPlayer and broadcast on BBC One. The segment will feature the cast presenting different ways for viewers to donate.
The current company includes Izzy Edmunds-Clarke as Annie, Jack Hardwick as Chris, Robert Jackson as Robert, Jonty Peach as Jonathan, Charlotte Scott as Sandra, Mitesh Soni as Dennis, Tom Wainwright as Max and Ronnie Yorke as Trevor, with Winston the dog appearing as himself, if located. Understudies are Alex Blackie, Jake Burgum, Kitty Devlin, Louise Hoare and Ed Shamwana.
The Play That Goes Wrong first opened at the Old Red Lion Theatre before transferring to the West End in 2014. It was created by Mischief Theatre, a group formed by drama school graduates, and has continued its run at the Duchess Theatre since September that year.
