Jeremy Herrin’s production will open at the Duke of York’s in January
The Nether, which premiered at the Royal Court earlier this year, is transferring to the West End's Duke of Yorks Theatre in the new year.
Co-produced with Headlong, the production previews from 30 January 2015 and is booking for 12 weeks only.
Jennifer Haley's play imagines a dystopian future in which people exist in a virtual real known as the nether, where dark abuses are perpetrated against children.
Director Jeremy Herrin said: It's a play for our times and the production is a deeply satisfying theatrical event and I'm looking forward to sharing it with a broad audience in the West End where we have had recent success with brilliant new writing like Chimerica and 1984. It's also an opportunity for us to encourage accessible pricing."
Original cast members Amanda Hale and Stanley Townsend will reprise their roles in the West End.
There will be 100 tickets at each performance at £20.50 and "Royal Court pricing" throughout the preview period. Public booking opens on 22 October 2014.
The Nether is produced by Sonia Friedman Productions, Scott M Delman and Tulchin Bartner Productions.
