The new play based on the INfamous company opens at the National Theatre
Photos have been released offering a first look at the National Theatre's The Lehman Trilogy, starring Simon Russell Beale, Adam Godley and Ben Miles.
Written by Stefano Massini, adapted by Ben Power and directed by Sam Mendes, the pieces charts the history of the Lehman brothers firm from their first foundation to their eventual collapse. The three-hander features designs from Es Devlin, costume design by Katrina Lindsay, lighting by Jon Clark, music and sound by Nick Powell, movement from Polly Bennett and video from Luke Halls.
The piece first premiered in Milan in 2015, with Sam Mendes then inspired to create an English production. Power's adaptation is based on the literal English translation by Mirella Cheeseman.
