Exclusive: The Devil Wears Prada musical has given a full West End casting update.

Featuring a score by Elton John, Shaina Taub (Suffs), and Mark Sonnenblick (K-Pop Demon Hunters), a book by Kate Wetherhead (Burlesque the Musical), and direction and choreography by Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots), the piece is continuing its West End premiere run at the Dominion Theatre.

It follows Andy as she lands a job at a fashion magazine under the demanding Miranda Priestly. As she sacrifices her personal life for success, she questions if it’s worth it.

The production features set design by Tim Hatley (Back to the Future), costume design by Gregg Barnes (Legally Blonde), lighting design by Bruno Poet (Tina – The Tina Turner Musical), sound design by Gareth Owen (& Juliet) and casting by WhatsOnStage Award winner Jill Green.

As already revealed earlier today, joining the show from 21 October and taking over from Georgie Buckland and WhatsOnStage Award nominee Amy Di Bartolomeo will be WhatsOnStage Award nominee Stevie Doc and Taila Halford, playing the roles of Andy and Emily respectively.

It can now also be confirmed that Keelan McAuley will take over the role of Nate, beginning from the same date. Joining the ensemble are Alex Woodward (also playing Hot Nurse), Anta Bah, Dean Makowshi-Clayton, Georgia Aspinall, Harry Tunningley, Jenna Bonner, Joshua Robinson, Justin-Lee Jones, Kimberley Hoyle, Mark Lamb, Selina Hamilton and Xenoa Campbell-Ledgister.

WhatsOnStage Award nominee Vanessa Williams will also continue as Miranda Priestly with dates confirmed until 18 April 2026. Continuing alongside her, until this date, are Matt Henry as Nigel and James Darch as Christian.

The production received four nominations for the 25th Annual WhatsOnStage Awards, including Best New Musical, Best Performer in a Musical for Williams, Best Supporting Performer in a Musical for Di Bartolomeo, and Best Wigs, Hair and Make Up for Campbell Young Associates.

A cast album was released earlier this month, available to stream now.
