Exclusive: The award-nominated musical The Choir of Man is set to embark on its first UK tour in 2026.
The production will open at New Wimbledon Theatre on 14 March before touring nationwide until 5 December. You can see a full list of tour dates confirmed today here, with more to be revealed.
Created by Nic Doodson and Andrew Kay, and directed by Doodson, the show has been running in the West End since 2021, where it has played over 1000 performances at the Arts Theatre and received an Olivier nomination for Best Entertainment or Comedy Play. It will continue there until 4 January 2026.
Featuring a cast of nine performers, the piece combines harmonies, singalongs, tap dance and storytelling, with music from artists including Queen, Adele, Paul Simon, Avicii and Katy Perry. Audience members are also offered free beer during the performance.
The show has previously played sold-out seasons at the Sydney Opera House, multiple European and US tours, and is due to launch its fourth North American tour in December ahead of the UK dates.
Speaking about the announcement, Doodson said: “It’s incredible to see how far the show has come from our start at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2017 and now, after four years in London’s West End, Olivier Award recognition, and multiple tours across Europe, Australia, and our fourth US national tour in 2026, it feels incredibly special to finally be taking the show on the road at home.”
The creative team also features Jack Blume (musical supervision, vocal arrangements and orchestrations), Freddie Huddleston (movement direction and choreography), Ben Norris (monologues), Oli Townsend (scenic design), Richard Dinnen (lighting design), Verity Sadler (costume and co-scenic design), Sten Severson (sound design) and Debbie O’Brien (casting).
The tour is produced by HH Productions, Nic Doodson, Andrew Kay, Global Creative and Kenny Wax.
