What will you be watching?

Sky Arts’ Freeview channel continues to dish out the stagey goods with an array of theatre-related broadcasts across September.
For early risers, My Favorite Things: The Rodgers & Hammerstein 80th Anniversary Concert will be aired on 6 September at 6am, while the following day, the West End recording of An American in Paris will be shown.
At 1am (!) on Tuesday 9 September, there will be an airing of the National Theatre’s Frankenstein, with Jonny Lee Miller as the creature and Benedict Cumberbatch as Victor Frankenstein.
Clearly a month for the theatre night owls, at 2.05am on 10 September will be an airing of Anna X, with Emma Corrin and Nabhaan Rizwan and recorded at the Harold Pinter Theatre.
Finally, at the much more social hour of 2pm on Saturday 13 September, will be a showing of the West End production of 42nd Street.
That’s not all – the week after will be the broadcast of the Sky Arts Awards, hosted by Bill Bailey – so expect lots of fun.
