RSC and Kiln Theatre announces casting for Driftwood

The Royal Shakespeare Company, in association with Kiln Theatre, has announced the full cast for Driftwood, a new play by Martina Laird directed by Justin Audibert, set in 1950s Trinidad.

The production will run at The Other Place in Stratford-upon-Avon from 17 April to 30 May 2026, with a press night on 28 April, before transferring to Kiln Theatre from 3 June, where press night will be held on 9 June.

Shane David-Joseph will make his RSC debut as Seldom, joined by Ziggy Heath as Tom and Martins Imhangbe as Diamond. Roger Ringrose will play Mansion, with Ellen Thomas as Pearl and Cat White as Ruby.

The creative team includes set and costume designer Sadeysa Greenaway-Bailey, lighting designer Simon Spencer, composer Christella Litras, sound designer Tony Gayle, movement director Kloé Dean, dramaturg Sebastian Born and casting director Matthew Dewsbury.
