The show has announced new tour locations in 2019
Rock of Ages has announced further dates for its UK tour, which kicks off in September 2018.
Featuring classic rock numbers including "We Built This City", "The Final Countdown" and "I Want To Know What Love Is", the show is a love story set in an LA music venue.
The show ran in the West End in 2011, before touring nationally in 2014. In 2012 it was also adapted into a film, starring Alec Baldwin, Mary J Blige and Tom Cruise.
The new venues announced in the UK tour will be at Glasgow King's, His Majesty's Aberdeen, Regent Theatre Stoke on Trent, The Hawth Crawley, New Wimbledon Theatre, Ipswich Regent Theatre, Coventry Belgrade, New Theatre Oxford, Theatre Royal Nottingham, Bristol Hippodrome, Grand Opera House York, Edinburgh Playhouse, Northampton Royal and Derngate, Swansea Grand, New Victoria Woking, Marlowe Theatre Canterbury, Blackpool Wintergardens and Sunderland Empire.
The show is directed and choreographed by Nick Winston (Annie and The Wedding Singer), designed by Morgan Large (The Woman in White) and has lighting design by Ben Cracknell (Young Frankenstein). Casting for the UK tour will be announced in due course.
Rock of Ages begins its UK tour in Bromley on 20 September.
