Richard Kind in The Producers – first look photos

Richard Kind has taken over the role of Max Bialystock in the West End revival of The Producers at the Garrick Theatre – and photos have arrived.

Kind will appear opposite Marc Antolin’s Leo Bloom in  for seven weeks, stepping into the role while Andy Nyman departs to open the world premiere production of The Psychic at York Theatre Royal. Nyman is scheduled to return to the production from 11 May.

Kind previously played Bialystock on Broadway in 2004, succeeding Nathan Lane, and later returned to the role in the 2012 Hollywood Bowl production.

Featuring a book by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan, and music and lyrics by Brooks, the production is directed by Patrick Marber. The show transferred to the West End following its run at the Menier Chocolate Factory in 2024.
