Rachel Zegler has topped charts with her version of “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina” following her West End debut as Eva Perón in Jamie Lloyd’s new production of Evita at The London Palladium.

The song is now available on all streaming platforms. The release includes a bonus track recorded live from the balcony of the Palladium, where Zegler performed the number to crowds gathered on Argyll Street, with the performance projected back inside the venue. Clips of the moment have reportedly been viewed over 150 million times online.

The single has topped the Official UK Vinyl Singles Chart and the Physical Singles Chart, as well as reaching number one on the UK Soundtrack chart on iTunes. It has also featured on Spotify’s Broadway Hits, All New Pop and New Music Friday playlists, and Apple Music’s New Music Daily. The 7” vinyl single was sold exclusively at The London Palladium and online. It also hit number 15 on the Official Singles Sales chart for all tracks in the UK.
