Photos: Simon Day and cast celebrate Waiting for Waiting for Godot opening

Chris Cox, Simon Day and Gemma Oaten were among those celebrating the opening night of Waiting for Waiting for Godot at St James Theatre last night.

Day, best known for his roles in the The Fast Show, stars as Ester in Dave Hanson's comedy. It's about two understudies who spend their time backstage pondering art, life and existence.

Casting also includes Laura Kirman (The Play That Goes Wrong) who will play Laura and James Marlowe (Macbeth, Mercury Theatre) who plays Val.
