Continuing to haunt the Ambassadors!

Paranormal Activity has extended its stay in the West End.
The production, which had its opening night last month, follows an initial try-out run at Leeds Playhouse
Adapted from the Paranormal Activity film series, the stage version is a new story written by Levi Holloway (Grey House) and directed by Felix Barrett, artistic director and founder of Punchdrunk. It is presented by Melting Pot in association with Leeds Playhouse and others.
Paranormal Activity follows James and Lou, who relocate from Chicago to London only to find that their new home offers no escape from the past. The production is described as an exploration of domestic hauntings, psychological disturbance and supernatural presence, using theatrical techniques that bring the audience close to the action. It received a glowing review from WhatsOnStage, being described as “entertaining, frightening and cementing itself in the horror theatre hall of fame.”
Starring are Patrick Heusinger as James and Melissa James as Lou, alongside fellow Playhouse performers Pippa Winslow as Carolanne and Jackie Morrison as Etheline Cotgrave. The West End company features Cheyenne Dasri as understudy Lou and Jake Solari as understudy James.
The show will now play at the Ambassadors Theatre in the West End until 25 April 2026.
Barrett previously directed Sleep No More, The Burnt City and The Drowned Man, among others. The creative team includes Fly Davis (set and costume design), Chris Fisher (illusions), Anna Watson (lighting), Gareth Fry (sound), Luke Halls (video) and casting directors Stuart Burt and Ginny Schiller.
Paranormal Activity is presented in arrangement with Paramount Pictures and produced by Simon Friend and Hanna Osmolska, along with Gavin Kalin, Ken Davenport, Patrick Gracey, Jonathan and Rae Corr and Leeds Playhouse. The age recommendation is 15 plus.
