The Only Fools and Horses musical had its West End opening last night, with guests coming to Theatre Royal Haymarket to see the classic sit-com come to life on stage.

Names including Harry Enfield, Ricky Hatton, Dave Peacock, Joan Hodges, John Challis (who was the original Boycie) and Christopher Ryan were all in attendance at the event.

Only Fools and Horses began previews at Theatre Royal Haymarket on 9 February and will have its opening night on 19 February. The musical has extended its run until 31 August, with tickets on sale now.

Appearing alongside Whitehouse are Tom Bennett as Del Boy, Ryan Hutton as Rodney, Dianne Pilkington as Raquel, Pippa Duffy as Cassandra, Jeff Nicholson as Boycie, Samantha Seager as Marlene, Peter Baker as Trigger, Adrian Irvine as Denzil, Pete Gallagher and Adam Venue as the Driscoll Brothers, Chris Kiely as Mickey Pearce and Andy Mace as Mike.

The music is written by Whitehouse and Jim Sullivan with additional music by John Sullivan and Chas Hodges. The show is directed and choreographed by Caroline Jay Ranger, with set and costume design by Liz Ascroft, musical supervision and arrangement by Stuart Morley, lighting by Richard G Jones, sound by Rory Madden and casting by David Grindrod.
