New Wicked book to offer exclusive insight into characters and locations ahead of second film

A new book will provide a more in-depth look into the merry old land of Oz.

Wicked: The Faces and Places of Oz will allow readers to learn more about their favourite characters and magical locations from the movie adaptation. Directed by Jon M Chu and starring Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda, the record-setting Wicked arrived on the big screen last November.

Wicked: For Good will follow later this year – here’s everything you need to know.

The book, from HarperCollins, offers a “visual journey through the world of Oz,” and is expected to include Munchkinland, Shiz, the Ozdust Ballroom and the Emerald City, with additional information about key characters including the two witches, Fiyero (played by Jonathan Bailey), Boq (Ethan Slater), Nessarose (Marissa Bode), the Wizard (Jeff Goldblum), Madame Morrible (Michelle Yeoh), and more.
