National Theatre at Home has announced three new titles arriving on the streaming platform this winter.

David Tennant leads the first of the new releases, C P Taylor’s Good, directed by Dominic Cooke. The production was filmed live at the Harold Pinter Theatre in 2022 and will be available to stream from 25 November.

Produced by Kate Horton for Fictionhouse and Playful Productions, the revival follows John Halder, a German professor whose moral choices are tested as Europe heads towards the Second World War. The cast also includes Elliot Levey and Sharon Small.

From December, audiences outside the United States will be able to stream Next to Normal, the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical by Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey. We’ve covered that in more detail here.

The third addition is The Land of the Living by David Lan, which was recently staged in the Dorfman Theatre. Juliet Stevenson stars in the production, directed by Stephen Daldry, as Ruth, a UN relief worker whose past decisions are revisited when she is reunited with a man she once cared for as a child refugee. Release date is to be confirmed.

These new titles expand the National Theatre at Home catalogue, which now offers more than 100 productions. All three will include captions and audio description.
