Lost fans, prepare yourselves. Matthew Fox, who played the hunky Dr Jack Shephard in the hit American TV series, is reportedly gearing up to make his West End debut. On the red carpet at the Emmys earlier this week, he let slip that he’s in talks to feature in a Neil LaBute play in London this spring. Fox-watchers have speculated that it will be a new LaBute, one which had a reading in Cape Cod this summer. The play, which has a working title of In a Forest Dark and Deep, centres on a brother and sister reflecting on their lives on a stormy evening. American LaBute’s plays are regularly done in London. His 2005 play This Is How It Goes is revived at the King’s Head next week, while recent West End outings of his work have included Fat Pig, Some Girls and The Shape of Things.
