Mathew Horne joins the cast of The Miser

Full casting has been announced for the adaptation of Moliere’s classic which opens in the West End in March

Gavin and Stacey star Mathew Horne has joined the cast of The Miser which opens in the West End in March 2017.

Also joining the previously announced Griff Rhys Jones and Lee Mack is Saikat Ahamed, Ryan Gage, Simon Holmes, Andi Osho, Michael Webber, Ellie White and Katy Wix.

Horne made his stage debut in a 2009 production of Entertaining Mr Sloane at Trafalgar Studios, and was last seen on stage in The Pride, also at Trafalgar Studios.

Molière’s classic comedy has been newly adapted by Sean Foley and Phil Porter, and will be presented at Bath Theatre Royal and Richmond Theatre, prior to opening at the Garrick Theatre in London’s West End on 13 March 2017, with previews from 1 March 2017.

The Miser runs at the Garrick Theatre from 1 March until 3 June 2017
