London Classic Theatre’s 15th Anniversary season has been announced today; the company will tour Alan Ayckbourn‘s Absent Friends beginning in April 2015 and Samuel Beckett‘s Waiting for Godot beginning in Autumn 2015.

Opening the tour is Alan Ayckbourn's Absent Friends. The play explores friendship, marriage and what it ultimately means to be happy. Absent Friends will begin its tour at the Devonshire Park Theatre, Eastbourne on 28 April, and will tour to places including Blackpool, Aylesbury, Coventry and Greenwich.

The other project is Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot. The Irish playwright's most notable play traces the journey of two men wandering aimlessly waiting for a friend to arrive. Waiting for Godot plans to open in September 2015, with tour dates and venues to be announced.

Michael Cabot, the artistic director of London Classic Theatre, will direct both productions. Cast and creative teams will be announced later.
