Tonight (8 May 2012) our Whatsonstage.com theatregoers are heading to see the Royal Shakespeare Company production of David Edgar’s Written on the Heart, which has transferred to the West End’s Duchess Theatre.

Directed by RSC artistic director-in-waiting Gregory Doran (who will take part in our post-show Q&A), the play centres on centres on the creation of the King James Bible and was commissioned to mark last year’s 400th anniversary of its publication.

The cast, many of whom will take part in our post-show Q&A includes: Oliver Ford Davies, Jamie Ballard, Bruce
Alexander, Stephen Boxer, Paul Chahidi, James Hayes, Jim
Hooper, Youssef Kerkour, Joseph Kloska, Sam Marks, Ian Midlane,
Mark Quartley, Daniel Stewart, Simon Thorp, Annette McLaughlin
and Jodie McNee.
