Stars including Lenny Henry, Indira Varma, Joely Richardson, Pearl Mackie and more turned out to celebrate the West End opening of the Young Vic's production of The Jungle.

The piece, which is written by Joe Murphy and Joe Robertson and is directed by Stephen Daldry and Justin Martin, recreates the Calais Jungle refugee camp. The Playhouse Theatre has been transformed into a replica of the original space.

The company is made up of actors from around the world, with cast members from Iran, Sudan, Afghanistan, Eritrea, England, Zimbabwe, Syria, Armenia, Congo, Wales, Scotland, The Gambia, Morocco, Lebanon and Germany.

In her five star review for WhatsOnStage, Sarah Crompton wrote "What makes The Jungle so extraordinary is partly that closeness, that sense of intimacy with terrible suffering".
