Plus they’re strutting over to Germany and Switzerland!
Casting for the final Kinky Boots tour dates have been revealed.
The new revival, directed by Nikolai Foster, was first seen earlier this year – and has already announced plans to open in the West End in 2026, led by Johannes Radebe as Lola.
Fresh faces will help take the show to its final UK tour stops in Sunderland and Stoke, as well as onto the European mainland for further performances. Tosh Wanogho-Maud will be taking over the role of Lola, while also joining the cast will be Billy Roberts (Mrs Doubtfire, West End) as Don, Jessica Daley as Nicola and Keith Alexander (The Herds, Sadler’s Wells London) as Simon Sr.
Continuing in the show are Dan Partridge as Charlie, Courtney Bowman as Lauren, Scott Paige =as George, Kathryn Barnes (Guys & Dolls, Bridge Theatre), Liam Doyle (Heathers, The Other Palace) as Harry, Jonathan Dryden Taylor (The Wizard of Oz) as Mr Price and Lucy Williamson (End Of The Rainbow, Trafalgar Studios) as Trish.
The cast is completed by newcomers Nathan Daly, Annell Odartey and Craig Watson with continuing cast, Cerys Burton, Kofi Dennis, Kaya Farrugia, Ru Fisher, Jordan Isaac, Tori McDougall, Liam McEvoy and Ashley-Jordon Packer.
On the creative side, choreography is by Leah Hill, set and costume design by Robert Jones, musical supervision by George Dyer, lighting design by Ben Cracknell, sound design by Adam Fisher, wig design by Campbell Young Associates, casting by Harry Blumenau, associate direction by Michaela Powell and associate sound design by Harry Baker.
Kinky Boots is a Tony, Olivier, Grammy and WhatsOnStage Award-winning musical, featuring a book by Harvey Fierstein and a score by Cyndi Lauper. Based on the 2005 film (which was inspired by true events), it tells the story of a struggling shoe factory in Northampton that attempts to save itself by tapping into a niche market – boots for drag queens.
Additional dates include Stoke Regent Theatre (25 to 29 November) and Sunderland Empire (2 to 6 December), with further dates in München, Zürich, Berlin and Oberhausen.
