Prasanna Puwanarajah’s production heads to London

Casting for the RSC’s run of Twelfth Night at the Barbican has been revealed.
The show, which features in the company’s festive London season, was first seen last Christmas in Stratford-upon-Avon and now transfers to the central London space. It received a glowing review from WhatsOnStage, being described as “fresh, insightful, and explores the nuances of the text in an enlightening and compelling interpretation.”
Directed by Prasanna Puwanarajah, the creative team for Twelfth Night includes designers James Cotterill, Bethany Gupwell and Zoe Spurr, composer Matt Maltese, sound designer George Dennis, movement director Polly Bennett, casting director Matthew Dewsbury and associate director Zoë Templeman-Young.
Initial casting for the show, which runs from 8 December 2025 to 17 January 2026, includes WhatsOnStage Award-winner Freema Agyeman, Michael Grady-Hall and Samuel West, who reprise their roles as Olivia, Feste and Malvolio respectively.
