Here’s an initial selection of shows you can see on 8 March!

The initial line-up for the 26th Annual WhatsOnStage Awards have been revealed.
The ceremony will return to The London Palladium on Sunday, 8 March 2026, beginning at 6.30pm. Co-produced with creative directors Alex Parker and Damian Sandys, the event will see a series of winners crowned across a range of categories, alongside exclusive live performances from top stage talent and a 24-piece orchestra.
The Awards Concerts are known for their exclusive, one-off numbers, which have included sneak-peeks, new melodies and re-orchestrated versions of contemporary classics, performed by some of the most notable stage names appearing in theatres around the world.
Set to host this year will be Gina and Mazz Murray, reuniting after presenting the silver anniversary event in 2025. The dazzling duo will present a special opening number, while the event will also feature an appearance from new musicals 13 Going On 30 the Musical, Hercules the Musical, Paddington The Musical and the upcoming The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, as well as Hope Mill Theatre’s smash-hit revival of Young Frankenstein.
There will also be an exclusive performance and cast reveal from a forthcoming musical revival, while additional shows and performances will be revealed over the coming weeks.
Voting for the WhatsOnStage Awards, the only major theatre awards decided by the theatregoers themselves, closed last month.
