Initial casting announced for Globe's Measure for Measure

Casting has been announced for Dominic Dromgoole's upcoming production of Measure for Measure, which opens at Shakespeare's Globe on 20 June.

Mariah Gale (Proof, Three Sisters, Romeo & Juliet) will star as Isabella, with Dominic Rowan (The Cherry Orchard, A Doll's House, Medea) as Duke Vincentio and Kurt Egyiawan (Twelfth Night, Richard III, A Season in the Congo) as Angelo.

Part of Dromgoole's final summer season as artistic director of the Globe, which is titled Justice and Mercy, Measure for Measure runs from 20 June to 17 October 2015.

Full casting for the production is to be announced.
