The tour opens in Bournemouth next week
We popped into rehearsals for Little Shop of Horrors to chat to the cast and director ahead of their UK tour.
Sam Lupton (Seymour), Stephanie Clift (Audrey) and Rhydian Roberts (Orin Scrivello), along with director Tara Wilkinson tell us what we can expect from the new production, including a special addition not normally seen in stage productions of the show.
The '50s musical sci-fi spoof has a book and lyrics by Howard Ashman, music by Alan Menken and is based on the film by Roger Corman with a screenplay by Charles Griffith.
Down and out florist assistant Seymour becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a macabre craving. Secretly in love with his colleague Audrey he names the plant Audrey II in her honour.
Little Shop of Horrors opens at Bournemouth Pavilion on 4 August before touring to Llandudno, Wimbledon, Belfast, Woking, Aylesbury, Lichfield, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bridlington, Cheltenham, Coventry, Manchester, Glasgow and Blackpool.
