HOME has announced its spring and summer 2026 theatre season, running from February to July, featuring a wide range of productions across its two theatre spaces.

The season begins in Theatre 1 with Company Chameleon’s acclaimed dance piece Obscura, followed by The Lightning Thief – The Percy Jackson Musical in February.

March sees the return of Mr Wilson’s Second Liners: Blowout 2026 and Bryony Kimmings’ new play Bog Witch, which opened to strong reviews during its world premiere in Walthamstow earlier this autumn.

Other highlights include the hit production of I, Daniel Blake, IN THE BRAIN by Hofesh Shechter Company, Emma Rice’s stage version of Malory Towers, and Thespians, the first musical comedy from Mischief, the team behind The Play That Goes Wrong.

Comedian Alasdair Beckett-King brings his new tour King of Crumbs to the venue, while family favourites include Tales from Acorn Wood and The Singing Mermaid. HOME will also present The Home We Made, a new production co-created by the people of Manchester with theatre company Malandra Jacks.

Theatre 2 hosts a range of smaller-scale and touring productions, opening with The Last Picture from York Theatre Royal, ETT and An Tobar and Mull Theatre. Fringe hit Golden Time follows in February, before Eastbenders transforms the space into a cabaret version of the Queen Vic.

Northern Broadsides return with Crime and Punishment, while A Grain of Sand, The City for Incurable Women and Nation explore social and political themes.

Cabaret legends Peaches Christ and Mink Stole bring IDOL WORSHIP to HOME, and solo performance Troubled blends storytelling and projection to reflect on personal history. Other family shows include The Loneliest Whale, Pirate Princess, and Box of Tales.
