Storyhouse will return to Grosvenor Park this summer with its 2026 open-air season running from 27 June to 6 September.

Outlaws: A Robin Hood Story will run from 3 July to 23 August. Written by Kieran Lynn, the production reimagines the Robin Hood legend and is directed by Hannah Noone. The play features famed Robin Hood characters in a heist-style narrative set in Sherwood Forest.

Let the Sun Shine! will run from 10 July to 23 August. Written by Helen Redcliffe and directed by Rob Green and Lucy Thatcher, the production is set in 1969 and follows a community responding to social change sparked by the arrival of a music festival.

The family walkabout production Peter Pan will take place from 28 July to 13 August. Designed for children under eight and their families, the daytime production invites audiences to move through Grosvenor Park as part of an interactive retelling of the story, featuring audience participation throughout.

Jessica Swale’s Nell Gwynn will run from 21 August to 6 September. The production is a co-production with Shakespeare North Playhouse and Theatre by the Lake and tells the story of the Restoration actress and royal mistress.

Alongside the theatre programme, Storyhouse in the Park will also host Moonlight Flicks open-air cinema screenings, live comedy nights, murder mystery events, yoga sessions, rhyme time and craft activities for families.
