After a sold out run at the 2014 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, this brand new comedy about "the greatest musical theatre star that never got to shine" finally makes its way to the Courtyard Theatre in Belfast.

Starring Gerard McCarthy and featuring a cast of characters that includes Our Lord Lloyd Webber, Tall Timmy Rice, Crazy Hair Trevor and Dave’s favourite leading lady Elaine Paige, CAT is described as "less of a love letter to musical theatre and more a death threat!"

Written by Richard Hardwick and Jamie Beamish, the production runs from Monday 23 – Saturday 28 February at The Courtyard Theatre.

McCarthy's screen credits include the BAFTA nominated The Fall and Hollyoaks. His stage appearances include The Merry Wives of Windsor at Shakespeare's Globe, Blue/Orange for ATG, Mamma Mia! and the UK premiere of It's a Wonderful Life at the Bridge House Theatre.
